ANOTHER YEAR- MIKE LEIGH

 

 

After watching this trailer i felt there were many ideas that we could use for our trailer such as the slow upbeat music that gave the film an inspirational feel to that would pull the audience in. We also thought the fact a lot of the story line is not revealed in the trailer wouldn't give too much away and leave the audience wanting to know more leading them to see it at the cinema.

STUDENT TEACHER OUTFITS

During our product research we were not entirely sure what the majority of student teachers outfits were. So  we wondered around our school taking photos of the student teachers seen below which gave us inspiration to how our character outfit will be seen.

We found out that student teachers liked to wear more casual clothes yet keeping the barrier between a teacher and student keeping the barrier there.

AUDIENCE RESEARCH TWO

Overall:

• wouldnt go and see this film from watching the trailer
• thought the portrayal of the teachers life was unrealistic
• didnt understand what was happening in the film
• they felt the trailer was very disjointed and like a short story
• didnt like the way the characters were introduced ( thought there were too many)
• thought the soundtrack fit the trailer

The biggest thing we took on board was the fact they  thought there were too many characters therefore we feel we will limit the amount of characters introduced in the trailer should be limited.
